The New iPod Touch + The iPod’s Get An Upgrade:

Apple’s greatest invention, the iPod. Being one of the best media device’s out there, it is now getting a new look and upgrade. Today I will be talking about the new styles that are now available for the iPod’s plus I’ll be comparing them to the old ones, and the new iPod Touch. I’ll be going over the good and if any, the bad things that it has to offer. So if you want to keep-up with the latest in media, upgrade to a new iPod, or if you don’t have one, and you’re thinking of getting rid of your out of date Discman and joining the rest of us here in the future by buying one, then this is the blog for you.

The iPod Touch don’t get confused, it may look like an iPhone and work like one (because you can browse around on the net) but it’s just the new iPod, and it’s the first of the new range of iPod’s. The iPod Touch come in an 8GB and 16GB.

8GB Touch Can fit up to 1,750 songs, up to 10,000 photos and up to 10 hours of videos. Its battery life can last up to 22 hours of music play back, and 5 hours of video play back. Where the 16GB Touch can fit up to 3,500 songs, 20,000 photos and up to 20 hours of video, its battery life is the same as the 8GB. Both the 8GB and 16GB come with an 8.89 widescreen color display and it’s incased in a 0.8cm thin case. The best thing with the iPod Touch is you can go on the net using Wi-Fi. (That means you can go anywhere that Wi-Fi is available, including selected Starbucks', but not in Australia). So now you don’t have to wait until you get home to download your favorite songs. The Touch iPod uses Safari so can go to sites like YouTube and use other sites Wi-Fi music stores. Now to the Price. The Australia price for the 8GB will be $419.00 and $299.00 for our friends in the U.S. As for the 16GB for AU price will be $549.00 and in US $399.00.

NEW iPod Shuffle has a new look to it, it will comes in 5 different colors. It also comes with 1GB that’s up to 240 songs. Price of the new shuffle in Australia is $99.00 and in the U.S. $79.00.

All NEW iPod nano also comes in 5 new colors, it’s small size (being at 3”x 2.3”) allows you to take it just about anywhere just by simply putting it your pocket. The nano also has a new menu and includes cover flow. It can also play videos, finally you can see all of your favorite videos without having to buy the iPod video and so you can save same money. Speaking of money let’s get to the Price. The 4GB nano which can fit up to 1,000 songs, up to 3,500 photos and up to 4 hours of video. The battery life will be up to 30 hours of music and up to 5 hours of video play back. This will go for $199.00 AU and $149.00 US. Where the 8GB nano that can fit up to 2,000 songs, up to 7,000 photos and up to 4 hours of video (it also has the same battery life time), will go for $279.00 AU and $199.00 US.

The iPod Classic has gotten a face lift and software upgrade. It only comes in two colors, silver and black. The 80GB hard drive can fit up to 20,000 songs, 25,000 photos and 100 hours of videos, where the 160GB can hold up to 40,000 songs, up to 25 to 50,000 photos and 200 hours of video. It also has new menu functions, including cover flow. Now you may be able to fit 40,000 songs and so on, but the battery life is the most important part. It will give you up to 40 hours of music play back and up to 7 hours of video play back, where the 80GB has up to 30 hours of music play back and up to 5 hours of video play back. The Price of the 80GB will go for $349.00 AU and $249.00 US. The 160GB will go for $479.00 AU and $349.00 in the US.
