Okay now I know that this really isn’t a game, but you can play with this and get just as much fun out of it.

If you’re a fun of the Gorge Lucas films Star Wars then you’re going to love this one. Get ready to take home everyone's favorite Astro Droid R2-D2. This little R2 unit is ready to obey your voice commands, that right! Just like the larger version of R2 you know from the films, this R2 needs nothing but some tender words and he'll do what you command. Without a doubt, this has to be the coolest Star Wars toy ever created. R2-D2 really will listen. You can talk to him and he'll talk back, well in R2’s language. You can ask him about different characters and he'll have amusing reactions. R2-D2 will even play games with you (Like Spin the Droid) this is my favorite; He'll guard your room or Home. Now keep in mind, that he has sensors in him, so as the R2 droid approaches a stationary object, he’ll just stop, turn and continue on patrolling. Just set a course for him to execute; and he can even carry your can of drink around, now how cool is that!

R2-D2 can responds to over 40 Voice Commands (including a few hidden ones you'll have to discover on your own!), Utility Arm/Soda can Holder, Removable Sensor-scope, Illuminating Light Beam, Sound, Heat, and Sonar Processing and Navigational Systems. An Adaptable Mood Status Indicator, Rotating Dome and Working Wheels, Approx. 15" Tall, Requires 4 AA and 4 D Batteries (And as always, not included), Now it’s not the cheapest toy, at $129.99 US. But it’s worth it.

Now it’s a great toy, and you will love it, just have some patients with it, he can snob you off. Like many others out there, I’m a fan of the Emmy Award nominated TV show by NBC “HEROES.” If you are a fun of the show, it’s most likely that you’re a fan of the art that pops up in the show. But now there’s another way to enjoy all the art from the hit show, as a comic. The comics have been around for a while, but now you can own all the volumes in the first series.

The HEROES comic comes in this spectacular hardcover graphic novel! With art by some of comic’s greatest illustrators and stories by the writers of the HEROES TV series, this volume features all 34 comics’ chapters from Season One, previously seen online at NBC.com. This volume also includes an introduction by Emmy Award nominee Masi Oka (Hiro), an amazing new cover by Alex Ross, and artwork by Tim Sale that first appeared in the TV episodes.

Now, even though the graphic novel in based on the show and its characters, the graphic novel stories are not and most likely will have no reference in the show itself, so you’re not missing out on anything if you don’t read the comics. It is however a great set of comics to add to any comic book fans or a fan of the show collection.

If you would like more information on this and other items from “HEROES” go to NBC.com

"Shock Ball!"

Welcome back, as review another game to play, in “Game On” Tuesday.

Are you sick of being bored? Tired of having to make-up a game to pass your time because your parents are to cheap to buy you a PSP or a Nintendo DS? Well be sad no more. It’s “Shock Ball!” shock your friends, family and just random people you know.

Here’s a history lesson for you. In 1539, people were bored and poor. One day, Filius Giles of North South-West-eastern-shire thought of a great way to pass the time. He took a chunk of lead (called a "pohtaytoh" by blacksmiths of the time) and heated it up. Gathering some friends, he dipped the pohtaytoh in lard with his tongs and threw it to his closest friend. The lard began melting away as each person threw it to another, hoping not to get burned by the "hot pohtaytoh." Apparently, everyone had a blast, and the game has survived today.

And now Hot Pohtaytoh has evolved into the Shock Ball. The Shock Ball plays just like the classic game with one major alteration. This ball doesn't want you to win. It wants you to drop it and lose. And to get you to drop it, the Shock Ball (as you probably have guessed) shocks you. It shoots out random electrical shocks (and lights up to make the experience more enjoyable). If you can hold onto the Shock Ball, you will quickly become the Shock Ball Champ. And everyone will know you have nerves of steel and a unique hairstyle, from all the shocks. Today will be taking a look at the new Macbook Air. Going over just some of its features and what it can do.

The new MacBook Air is nearly as thin as your index finger. Practically every detail that could be streamlined has been. Yet it still has a 13.3-inch widescreen LED display, full-size keyboard, and large multi-touch track pad. It’s incomparably portable without the usual ultraportable screen and keyboard compromises.

Amazingly thin. The thinness of MacBook Air is stirring. But perhaps more impressive, there’s a full-size notebook encased in the 0.16 to 0.76 inch of sleek, sturdy anodized aluminum. And at just 3.0 pounds, the MacBook Air is more than portable it can go everywhere you go. The glossy 13.3-inch, widescreen LED backlit MacBook Air display is the same viewable size as the screen on MacBook. The 1280-by-800 resolution gives you vibrant images and rich colors at full brightness from the moment you open it. So you get full screen performance with all the benefits of a slim design. The incredible thinness of MacBook Air is the result of numerous size and weight shaving innovations. From a slimmer hard drive to strategically hidden I/O ports to a lower profile battery, everything has been considered and reconsidered with thinness in mind.
Feature keyboard. The keyboard is full-size with crisp keys just like the ones on MacBook. But MacBook Air goes further by adding backlit key illumination, making it easy to work in low light settings such as airplanes and conference halls. A built-in ambient light sensor automatically adjusts keyboard and display brightness for optimal visibility. And with the oversize multi-touch track pad, it just keeps getting better for fingers.
Multi touch. MacBook Air includes an oversize track pad with multi-touch technology. You can pinch, swipe, or rotate to zoom in on text, advance through a photo album, or adjust an image. This gesture-based input so successful on iPhone and iPod touch now comes to MacBook. So you can enjoy fingering and feeling-up your MacBook just like on your iPod.

The MacBook Air comes with a 2GB of RAM built in ample memory for working with your favorite applications. The 80GB hard drive provides plenty of storage space. And you have the option to upgrade to a 64GB solid-state drive, which has no moving parts for enhanced durability. The MacBook Air performance is as impressive as its form, thanks to its 1.6GHz or 1.8GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor. This chip was custom-built to fit within the compact dimensions of MacBook Air.
Built-in iSight camera. MacBook Air includes a built-in iSight camera. It’s so smartly integrated; you hardly notice it’s there. The iSight camera and iChat software make video chatting easy anywhere there’s a wireless network.
The MacBook Air battery is the thinnest ever, yet it doesn’t compromise power. You can access the web wirelessly for up to five hours.

MacBook Air is the notebook that allows for a fully wireless lifestyle. It all starts with the fastest-available, next-generation 802.11n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR built in. And that’s just the beginning of the unprecedented wireless capabilities of MacBook Air. The MacBook Air has shed something you no longer need: the optical drive. That’s because MacBook Air is built for the wireless world. So instead of watching DVDs, you can rent movies wirelessly from the iTunes Store. And instead of backing up files to a stack of discs, you can back up files wirelessly using Apple’s new Time Capsule. However, for those times when you still need to install software on MacBook Air from a CD or DVD, a new feature called Remote Disc lets you wirelessly use or “borrow” the optical drive of a Mac or PC in the vicinity. So you can have full access to an optical drive without having to haul one around.

I’ll be posting updates on the MacBook Air as new up-grades are available. Now if you’re like me and can be easily be entertained, then I think you’re going to like today’s item. Now it’s not a game nor is it something you can enjoy for hours and hours at a time, but you will love using this, and it’s very amusing.

Forget Superman; forget Spider-man and even forget Batman. It’s the Screaming Monkey Slingshot.

Legend tells of a hero not born unto this world, but destined to change forever the course of human existence. A hero so grand that all past legends will turn to dust in the wake of his greatness. This is not that hero. This is, however, the next best thing: a monkey with a cape and a mask. Because nothing says power, like a cape and a mask.

This monkey has a secret; there are pockets in the monkey's hands. Slip your fingers in, (this is where I normally put a joke in, I think I’ll leave this one alone) pull back his hind legs, and his arms will stretch to a crazy length with the magic of rubber! You can just feel the potential energy coursing through the monkey's imaginary veins. Let it fly and you will be treated to a wondrous sight. The monkey will scream with delight when jolted. So, if the launch is hard enough, you'll get a scream of power in mid air (if I had a dollar) or if the landing is hard, you'll get a scream of protest as gravity does its work. Or, you fling like a master; you'll get a double dose of monkey justice.

I don’t recommend this for your younger kids or it may not ideal for inside use, but it’s a lot of fun. Something the entire family can enjoy, with adult supervision. It only goes for $6.99 US, so not only is it fun, it’s cheap too.

For more information go to: Thinkgeek.com

Line Rider

Alright! It’s “Game On” Tuesday. This is one that the whole family can enjoy on the net.

Okay here’s the story. Boy grabs sled. Boy rides sled. A simple concept yields endless fun and the latest Internet Phenomenon is born! In Line Rider the player draws their own landscape with a simple pencil tool creating as many ramps, hills, and jumps as they can imagine. Then they send a virtual sled rider careening down the course until he wipes out. (Which if you’re as good at this as I am, that will happen a lot) The possibilities in Line Rider are only limited by the player's imagination.

Line Rider was originally created by Boštjan Cadež, a Slovenian university student, in September of 2006. It almost immediately gathered a cult following and became the seventh quickest gaining keyword in Google. Since that time, the 'toy' has generated over 16 million views. Fans quickly noticed that they could create tracks, set them to music, and share them over YouTube.com. Currently, there are over 11,000 shared videos with many more to come. Keep an eye on this site for more information from Line Rider.

Line Rider is available on your Mobile phone. Line Rider Mobile brings all the fun of the internet phenomenon to carry with you anytime and anywhere on your phone. Line Rider is also available on the Nintendo DS.

The game is a lot of fun for the whole family, more so for the kids; just put the game on for them and they’ll be on it for hours. The only downside to this game is even if you’re doing well or not, you’ll find you’ll be on it for hours. So keep an eye on the time, it’s very addictive and keep in mind, It’s Free.

For more information, you can go to LineRider.com

Freeware for Windows 2000, XP, Vista: SideSlide

It’s "Tech me" Sunday, this is where I’ll be letting you know all about new and old software, programs and gadgets that can make your life easier.

Freeware for Windows 2000/XP/Vista. So let’s kick off the New Year with way to get around a lot easier.

The Dash Express is the first navigation system with two-way, Internet connectivity. It's packed with great features that give you the smartest way to get from one place to another as fast as you can and information about everything in between. Okay one of the things that make this GPS navigator stand out from the rest, is the way it works, Select your route based on up to the minute traffic data that is automatically and anonymously exchanged via the most reliable source, other Dash devices. The Dash Express gathers traffic information from the Dash Driver Network and combines it with other sources of traffic data to provide you with the most accurate picture of what's happening on the routes you're traveling. And only Dash provides traffic information for freeways and local roads and side streets. Dash Express provides up to three routing options to your destination that are based on flow rather than incident data, and even has the ability to automatically alert you when traffic conditions change and a faster route is available. So no more excuses for being late to all of those boring parties that you’re being dragged too. No typing required with Send2car, It’s the fastest and easiest way to send an address straight to your device from any computer. Just highlight an address from your Internet browser or Microsoft Outlook and send it directly to the car. You can use Send2Car yourself, or when you're on the road, have someone else do it for you.

Two-way connectivity gives Dash Express the ability to use Yahoo! Local search and other internet search sources to find almost anything anywhere. Unlike other GPS devices that come loaded with a static database of points of interest, Dash gives you access to unlimited points of interest based on your specific needs. There is also My Dash, (available at my.dash.net) which allows you to create and send customized search buttons straight to your device so you always have access to the places you want to go. And you can even take advantage of local knowledge from the Dash network by downloading location lists shared online by other users.

Dash Express is the only GPS that automatically and wirelessly updates software and traffic using two-way connectivity. You'll always have the latest features as they’re release. Maintain all the benefits you get from a two-way, internet connected device. Features including Send2Car, Auto Updates, and traffic information from the Dash Driver Network and Internet search aren't available without a subscription to the Dash Service. The Dash Service costs $9.99 US per month if you pre-pay for a two-year plan or $12.99 US per month with a month-to-month commitment. Currently, the Dash Express is only available in the United States. Let’s just hope that it becomes available in other countries.

The Dash Express is 4.8"W x 4.1"H x 2.8"D (122 x 104 x 71mm). Its Display Size is 3.81"W x 2.25"H (9.7 x 5.7cm); 4.3" diagonal (10.9cm) it has a 4.3in widescreen display and a Display Resolution of 480 x 272 pixels. Display Type is WQVGA Color TFT LCD, Anti-glare technology and Polarized screen. You can use the simple touch screen to choose the on screen menu options. It features such things as video chat, Internet access, digital photo viewing, and digital audio and video will likely make it the central component of your media set-up. The PS3 features IBM's "Cell" processor and a co-developed Nvidia graphics processor that makes the system able to perform two trillion calculations per second. It boasts an HDMI port, which delivers uncompressed, unconverted digital picture and sound to compatible high-definition TV and projectors. The system is capable of 128-bit pixel precision and 1080p resolution for a full HD experience. Sony's PlayStation 3 games are encoded onto the Blu-ray disc media format, which holds up to six times as much data as traditional DVDs. This increase in capacity combined with the awesome power of its processor and graphics card promises mind-blowing games once developers have learned how to fully harness the new console's power. Inside the controller uses Bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology and can support up to seven wireless controllers at a time. The PlayStation 3 will be backward compatible with PlayStation and PlayStation 2 games, which means you'll be able to play all your favorite games without keeping all the old systems. So go out a sell that old PlayStation, you’ll need it the money to pay for this one. The console will have slots for Memory Stick Duo, an SD slot and a Compact Flash memory slot. It comes with a pre-installed hard disc drive. The PS3 supports 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T Ethernet, as well as IEEE 802.11 b/g wireless networking protocols.

PS3 has similar online connectivity and services as the next generation of Xbox Live. Calling it "an always on, always connected device," The PS3 supports 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, 1000BASE-T Ethernet, as well as IEEE 802.11 b/g wireless networking protocols.

The PlayStation 3 is backward compatible with PlayStation and PlayStation 2 games. The console has slots for Memory Stick Duo, an SD slot and a Compact Flash memory slot. It comes with a pre-installed hard disc drive, which allows you to save games as well as download content from the Internet.

New gamers intuitively move the controller while playing, even though that movement has traditionally had no relation to what's going on in the game. Sony has picked up on this tendency and is using it to bring a new level of control into the PS3. Inside the controller is a high-precision six-axis sensing system that accurately detects fine movements in pitch, roll, and yaw, as well as three dimensions of movement, to control games. This means that future PS3 games will be controlled by the movements of your hands rather than just your thumbs. For example, you might be able to steer a car by holding the controller like a steering wheel. (I’ve seen this somewhere before?) Anyway, while the PS3 controller looks much like its Dual Shock predecessors, it will lack the force feedback vibration since that would only interfere with the sensing system. It uses Bluetooth 2.0 wireless technology and can support up to seven wireless controllers at a time. It's a hot swappable system, so if your controller is running low on power, just pause your game and connect a USB 2.0 cable. You can continue playing while your controller recharges automatically.

Sony's PlayStation 3 games are encoded onto the Blu-ray disc media format, which can hold six times as much data as traditional DVDs. It’s the Nintendo DS; the DS brings multiple features together to deliver cutting-edge games for fans of every genre. Pit your wits and test your skills against other players everywhere from the other side of the room to the other side of the world. A great library of games means there's something for everyone. Nintendo DS revolutionizes handheld game-play. With two ultra bright screens, 3D graphics, touch-screen technology and wireless communication, you can challenge yourself or your friends anywhere, at anytime.

The first thing you'll notice about the Nintendo DS Lite is how small it is. And then you'll notice how many amazing things it can do. Two ultra bright LCD screens give you twice the action, twice the color, twice the fun and twice as annoying, unlike other handheld consoles. With a built-in microphone, the Nintendo DS Lite gives you even more ways to interact with your favorite games and friends via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection.

Use your stylus with PictoChat to create drawings and text messages to send to all your DS friends. You know, instead of using all those other text messaging devices. (NOTE: Nintendo DS Lite wireless communication, including PictoChat, is not private and is not monitored by Nintendo. It’s recommend that you never reveal any personal information or arrange to meet a stranger). PictoChat is local wireless only. You need to be within 30 feet of another system to communicate. Create a local wireless network of up to 16 players between 30 to 100 feet away. Plus, for some titles, this feature requires just ONE Nintendo DS Game Card. Now you can take on all your friends at school, it’s just too bad that most school have band devices like this.

Nintendo DS Lite doesn’t just play DS games; it also features an additional port for Game Boy Advance Game Packs. Use the stereo headphone jack for the ultimate DS sound experience. Suddenly the action isn’t just in your hand it’s in your head! (If I had a dollar…) Nintendo DS has rich, stereo speakers that pump out virtual surround sound that takes you right to the heart of the game.

Overall, this is a great portable gaming device that everyone can enjoy. Today we take a look at what’s new from Nokia. It’s the new Nokia N95 8GB. This is an updated version of the best-selling original N95 and yes it my look a lot like the original N95, but the color isn’t the only thing that’s change on the phone. There are a few serious changes to it that make it a significantly better mobile phone than its predecessor.

Starting with a larger screen than the other one, you will really enjoy viewing the content on the N95 8GB. Watching videos and browsing the Web. The navigation keys at the bottom of the screen, although smaller, seemed so much easier to use. The N95 8Gb got rid of that somewhat pointless media menu that comes up when you slide the original N95 down, you can navigate the 8GB's start page normally. Overall, the interface is far snappier to use and its boot-up time was far quicker. (This is because it now has a 128MB of ram, were the original N95 only had 64MB). At first the double slider thing was a cool feature. But it may have been better off without it, when you're pulling it in and out of your pocket the slider mechanism can move up and down, activating the phone. Which we all know, is not so good.

The Nokia N95 8GB has (obviously) 8GB which means that you fit a lot more of your Photos, Music, and Videos, which you will be using at some point of time, due to it having a 5 megapixel camera, the video quality has improved since the N95, this makes the filming of videos at lot better, due to its higher frame rate per second.

The other great part of the Nokia N95 8GB, is its GPS navigator. It uses Nokia’s own mapping software that you have to download yourself; you can also use Google Maps. You are also able to receive Voice Navigation, but it will cost you more, it also users up more of your phones memory. The games on the N95 8GB is also a lot better, however it only comes with 2 games on it. This is by far the best phone to come out of Nokia, If not one of the best phones out there. This is a must have gift.

Day # 6 Great DVD's Gifts for Christmas:

It’s Day # 6 in the last minute gift ideas, and today we’re taking a look at some of the must have DVDs for all those DVD collectors. The DVD also has 50 deleted scenes (That I think should have been left in the show) that help make some more sense with the storyline. It also has a cool game that can read your mind, it pretty freaky, and it gets it right every time I’ve play it. Even though I know how it works, it’s still kind of freaky. This is a must get DVD, so if you’re into sci-fi’s, or if you just love a great drama or a show with a lot of action, this one is for you. It’s the PSP (PlayStations Portable) If you’re planning on going away this Christmas or New Year, and planning on traveling a long distance, then the PSP is a must have gift. The PSP is a multi function media (and most important) gaming center. It’s the ultimate handheld gaming system; at the heart of the PSP is a new media format known as the Universal Media Disc, or UMD. Each UMD can hold 1.8 GB of data, enough room for rich and complex games. UMDs, (which are housed in a protective cover), slide into the rear of the PSP. Kind of like the old cartages. Sony has declared the UMD an open format for developers and media content owners, so Movies, Music, MP3 and MP4 downloading capabilities. The PSP's also comes with a 333 MHz processor that dwarfs the speed of competing handheld consoles. Add this polygon-pushing muscle to 4 MB of fast DRAM and 32 MB of embedded RAM, and you've got a device with graphics rendering capabilities close to that of the PlayStation2. And because no game is complete without audio, the PSP is generously appointed with built-in stereo speakers, as well Dolby Digital 7.1 surround sound capability. Sony has also pulled out all the stops with the PSP display. The bright, 4.3-inch LCD sports a 16:9 aspect ratio and 480 x 272 pixel resolution--plenty of real estate for heavy gaming action and widescreen-format movies. All of this is powered by a removable, and rechargeable, lithium-ion battery.

Memory Stick™ Play movie/video saved on a Memory Stick Duo™. This icon will appear only when a Memory Stick Duo™ slot is inserted. With Memory Stick Duo media, you can store your saved games, downloaded online content, personal video and audio files, and more. When you want access to these files from your PC, simply use the PSP's USB 2.0 port to turn the device into a fast portable media drive. Then, drag and drop files such as your photos, MP3s, and videos onto the PSP, just as you would any other removable storage device. The PSP ships with a 32 MB Memory Stick Duo and additional media with higher storage capacities are available.

Now if you’re worried about the controls from its perspective, the PSP is made for gaming. If you're familiar with a PlayStation controller, you'll be a pro at the PSP's controls in no time. Directional buttons, as well as an analog stick are provided. Meanwhile, the familiar left and right shoulder buttons, as well as triangle, circle, cross and square buttons are integrated into the device's slim case. Finally, home, select, and start buttons give you quick access and control over the PSP's important functions.

The PSP's ability to connect to the internet, and to other PSPs and USB-based peripherals, is a real advantage. Its Wi-fi connectivity (or IEEE 801.11b), Use this wireless internet standard to connect to other gamers around the world for hot multiplayer action--all from your couch, or your local Wi-fi hotspot. As mentioned, the PSP's USB 2.0 port is great for PC connectivity, but it also opens the PSP up for a whole range of future peripherals. Sony has plans for the PSP in other ways, too; the unit's infrared port speaks of remote control capabilities in the near future.

What's in the Box
PSP device, AC adapter, battery pack, 32 MB Memory Stick Duo, ear-bud headphones with remote control, soft case and hand strap. (Items may very).
The only down sides to the PSP, its glossy finish may look good, but except to be cleaning it a lot, you will leave finger prints. And when it comes to Memory Stick, it can end up costing you more the PSP itself. Overall, this is a must get gift.

Day # 9, Samsung i85 Digital Camera:

Its Day # 9: in the last minute gift ideas. Okay yes, it may be last year’s best selling gift along with the Xbox 360. But the not so high graphic game console, is the most demanded in the U.S.A. and is proving that you don’t always have to look good to satisfy someone. Being the cheapest gaming console out of the Xbox and the Play Station 3, the Wii will have you up out of your sets, and moving around like you’re actually in the game. That’s right, all you fatties are going to have to get up off that Lazy Boy, and move around.

Featuring a compact design that makes it a natural addition to any television setup, the Wii console is white in color and can be displayed either vertically or horizontally. The Wii is backward-compatible to all Nintendo GameCube games and includes four Wii Remotes can communicate with Wii, which features a bay for an SD memory card. So you and all your friends can battle it out against each other. It has an AV Multi-output port for component, composite or S-video. The size you may ask? Is about 8.5 inches long, 6 inches wide and less than 2 inches thick, (roughly the size of 3 DVD cases stacked on top of each other). Now to the sizes of the Wii…

The Wii console communicates wirelessly with the Internet via wireless or a Wii LAN adaptor. Wii also can connect wirelessly with Nintendo DS. Nintendo fused the familiarity of a remote control with the sophistication of motion-sensing technology to come up with an input device for the ages! Sporting the size of a traditional remote control, the wireless Wii Remote is a multi-functional device that is limited only by the game designer's imagination. In a tennis game, it serves as your racket you swing with your arm. In a driving game, it serves as your steering wheel. For first-person shooters, the Wii Remote acts as your weapon that you point at an enemy. The list of potential uses goes on and on. I hate to think of how it would be used in the Playboy game. We should be thankful that one’s not on the Wii… yet. In addition to its pointing and motion-sensing abilities, the Wii Remote also includes a speaker, rumble feature and expansion port for additional input devices, such as the Nunchuk. Now you can also get the Classic Controller that allows you to play classic games available through the Wii Shop Channel with ease. (Note that this controller is sold separately).

Choose the Wii and Virtual Console games played by your child based on the game's ESRB rating. It’s an easy to use program, which you can use to help show other people how to do things on their computer right from your own home. You can work from home, or wherever you want, and still interact with your colleagues as though you're sitting right next to them. You can also work together on documents and applications remotely, without having to load anything up to the web, or create a new 'online' only document. You can use the tools and applications you use now! Start an instant online meeting with any number of people for free. It's really easy to use for everyone involved, and you can even all work together in real time on the documents or applications you're looking at. It even fully integrated global conference bridge, to make life even easier!

You can remotely control another computer. (Only if you've been given permission to do so). So you can control a Mac from a PC and vice versa! Great for helping your friends, family, customers or older loved ones with any technology problems.

Another cool thing you can do with Yuuguu, is if you want to show your friends those new photos you took while you were out last night or from a recent road trip or holiday. With one click you can, In fact you can show anything to anyone, and it’s free!

Yuuguu is really nice to your computer. For a start it works on PC's and Macs. In fact it’s so nice that provided you can save a file on your computer and access the Internet, Yuuguu will work for you. It's easy to get started, just enter your email address to register and you will be sent a password. If you've been invited in you'll already have a password sent to you in an email. Just type this in, and you’ll be good to go.

If you would like to build your own private network of contacts. You can! You just need to know the other people's emails address. You can then add them to your contact list. Just like an e-mail account, or FaceBook. If they aren't already on Yuuguu, your friend, family or customers will be sent a really nice email asking if they'll join.

Now you can also see whether your friends and colleagues are around, you can chat with them one on one or in groups if you like. Instantly show them what you are looking at on your computer, let them move your mouse and use your keyboard as though they were sitting right next to you, and easily start a conference call together.
Oh, and you can just bring people into your conversation as easily as clicking a button, (which is what you’ll have to do) and then they can see and hear what you do! It's too easy.

Sometimes not everyone can download Yuuguu, but that's okay! You can share what you're doing with anyone from around the whole world. All people need is a computer, a browser and an internet connection, and then you can work and play together just as if they are in your computer. (They won't be able to show you what they are looking at, but you can do everything else!)

To finish off, this is great program for shearing files or helping others with using their computers and the best part is, it FREE! VMware Fusion gives you the freedom to unite Windows and Mac OS X, play Windows games on you Mac, and use an already established Boot Camp partition, download and run VMware virtual appliances, take snapshots of your operating system if your PC crashes or becomes corrupted. If this is what you’re looking, then this is the program for you.

Windows and Mac OS X, now you can say goodbye to the Start menu and Taskbar and run Windows applications directly from the Dock. Minimize Windows applications to the Dock, and switch between Windows or Mac applications with Exposé. Find and instantly launch any Windows application, drag and drop files between Windows and the Mac, and you can also use familiar Mac keyboard shortcuts to copy and paste between Windows and Mac applications. To run Windows on your Mac is easy, there’s no need to Reboot. VMware Fusion makes it easy to install and run Windows, Linux or any other operating systems on your Intel-based Mac as virtual machines, this giving you the power to use multiple operating systems simultaneously all of this, without having to rebooting your computer.

Installing Windows on your Mac is easy, thanks to the Windows Easy Install feature in VMware Fusion. Just answer a few simple questions and insert your Windows installation disc VMware Fusion will do the rest by automatically create a Windows virtual machine that is optimized for your Mac. You can also use the New Virtual Machine Assistant to create virtual machines that can run Windows, Linux or any of the more than 60 different operating systems supported by VMware Fusion.

If you’re already running Windows XP or Windows Vista on your Mac using Apple's Boot Camp, it’s no problem. VMware Fusion automatically detects your Boot Camp partition and lets you access it as a virtual machine, giving you the flexibility to run Windows XP or Windows Vista alone or side-by-side with Mac OS X.

If you’re a Windows user and you’re thinking of getting and Mac, VMware Fusion makes it easier than ever for Windows users to make the switch to the Mac. To move from a PC to VMware Fusion, use the free VMware Converter Starter Edition to transform your Windows PC into a VMware Fusion-compatible virtual machine, and then copy the virtual machine from your PC to your Mac. To move from Parallels Desktop to VMware Fusion, use the free VMware Importer (beta) to move your Parallels Desktop virtual machines into VMware Fusion virtual machines.

Built exclusively for the Mac to work the way you work, the Cocoa native user interface gives you features you expect including customizable toolbars to make VMware Fusion work just the way you want it to work. Now you can easily move your virtual machines. Your complete virtual machine is stored in a single, easy to manage package. Move your virtual machines to an iPod, or another hard drive, or Mac simply by copying a file.

Play DirectX 9.0 games on your Mac VMware Fusion offers experimental support for hardware accelerated 3D graphics in Windows XP virtual machines, this making it possible to run DirectX 9.0 applications and play select 3D games on your Mac. So let the games begin.

Creating powerful multi-core virtual machines, only the VMware Fusion gives you the ability to leverage the power of the dual-core processors (found in most Intel-based Mac’s with exclusive support for VMware Virtual SMP technology.) Access platform specific devices, VMware Fusion lets you get the most out of your Mac hardware from the SuperDrive to iSight cameras in any virtual machine. You also get complete support for proprietary video cameras, GPS, Bluetooth, and other USB 2.0 devices that only work in Windows. You can also choose a wide range of network options; VMware Fusion allows virtual machines to safely share a single network connection, effortlessly switching between wired and wireless AirPort/Wi-Fi connections.

Minimum Requirements for VMware Fusion, you’ll need an Intel based Mac (to run 64-bit operating systems, an Intel Mac with a Core 2 Duo or Xeon processor is required), 512MB of RAM (1 GB or more recommended) 275MB free disk space for VMware Fusion, 1GB free disk space for each virtual machine (10 GB or more recommended.) And Mac OS X version 10.4.9 or later.

To finish off, this is a great way to switch over to a Mac, if you’re a PC user, or if you’re a Mac user wanting to use PC basted software, including games and offices programs, then this is for you. It’s an easy way to get around the net and view your favorite websites. So if you find it hard or you’re getting tired of trying to read the small print and the tiny icons that go with them in your bookmarks, then this site is for you. It has a cool new way of accessing your favorite sites. Instead of listing them in the standard bookmark fashion, they are placed in a box that shows part of the website itself, it’s easy to do, and it looks cool too, it great for kids and for older people that find it hard to see (or read) the smaller text, or if you just want something different.

It works by letting you save up to 12 or more boxes, and linking them to your home page for a quick and easy access to your most used or favorite websites. Now you start with 12 boxes, and you can add more, or as many as you need as you go along. You can do this by customizing your account. You will need to make an account to do this, otherwise it’s pretty straight forward.

Organizing your websites is easily done by placing them under tabs; each tab can be given its own name. Now to add the websites is simple, just click on the box and fill in the websites title and its address, then click ‘SAVE’. You can move the boxes around, just click and hold onto the box you want to move, and then drag it to the space you want it in.

You can continue using Homepage without making an account, but you will be limited to 12 websites (boxes.) All customizations and tabs will be unavailable to those without an account. So yes, that’s another user name and password you’re going to have to try and remember and add to that growing list.

Another cool feature is that you can search for information directly from your home page. They have a collection of search engines you can choose from including the ever so popular Google, Yahoo and Wikipedia, just to name some. You can also put your own, by suggesting it to the sites host.

Now if you want to share it with friends and family to see, or use the pages that you have selected. You can do so by linking them to your Homepage. Just make sure that you have your page set for public. Again you must have an account to do this. This is a great site for all, its fun easy to and quick to use and plus it’s Free! To start, just go to homepagestartup.com, Enjoy!

Noise Ninja:

Photos, the way to capture holidays, parties, a night out with your friends and other things you may or may not want to remember. But they don’t always come out the way you hope, even with all the technology we have to make them the best we can, they can come up grainy or with a lot of noise. But now there is a way to clear up all those photos and scanned photos, so you can share them with all of your friends and family, and or on the net (like MySpace, FaceBook and other web sites) with everyone you don’t even know. Noise Ninja is the program for you.

Noise Ninja works by taking the color that’s surarounding the distorted parts in the picture, then blurs it together, making it one color, removing noise and grain from digital photographs and scanned photos. If the picture is very bad, it will still work but it will most likely make the picture like a very lifelike painting or it will give it a real good blur look. Noise Ninja is designed so you can quickly and easily get the results you want. It includes a rich set of tools, including automatic and manual noise analysis, camera specific profiles, an innovative "Noise Brush", and batch processing. Being one of the best media device’s out there, it is now getting a new look and upgrade. Today I will be talking about the new styles that are now available for the iPod’s plus I’ll be comparing them to the old ones, and the new iPod Touch. I’ll be going over the good and if any, the bad things that it has to offer. So if you want to keep-up with the latest in media, upgrade to a new iPod, or if you don’t have one, and you’re thinking of getting rid of your out of date Discman and joining the rest of us here in the future by buying one, then this is the blog for you.

The iPod Touch don’t get confused, it may look like an iPhone and work like one (because you can browse around on the net) but it’s just the new iPod, and it’s the first of the new range of iPod’s. The iPod Touch come in an 8GB and 16GB.

8GB Touch Can fit up to 1,750 songs, up to 10,000 photos and up to 10 hours of videos. Its battery life can last up to 22 hours of music play back, and 5 hours of video play back. Where the 16GB Touch can fit up to 3,500 songs, 20,000 photos and up to 20 hours of video, its battery life is the same as the 8GB. Both the 8GB and 16GB come with an 8.89 widescreen color display and it’s incased in a 0.8cm thin case. The best thing with the iPod Touch is you can go on the net using Wi-Fi. (That means you can go anywhere that Wi-Fi is available, including selected Starbucks', but not in Australia). So now you don’t have to wait until you get home to download your favorite songs. The Touch iPod uses Safari so can go to sites like YouTube and use other sites Wi-Fi music stores. Now to the Price. The Australia price for the 8GB will be $419.00 and $299.00 for our friends in the U.S. As for the 16GB for AU price will be $549.00 and in US $399.00.

NEW iPod Shuffle has a new look to it, it will comes in 5 different colors. So here is some information you may or may not know about the two web sites.

Let us start off with what they are and offer.

MySpace is a place where you can send messages to your friends, or chat to them live, post photos of yourself, friends and family, and places you’ve been. You can also put up videos, post blogs or lessen to music by most of your favorite arties, and even unsigned artist. You can also personalize your profile page, just like you would on your own web-site. It’s also a great place to keep in touch with loved ones, family and friends new or old and it’s a great place to meet new people that are close to you, or even on the other side of the world.

FaceBook is a place that you can chat to your family and friends, people you went to school with, or even the people you work with, by sending them a message or putting a comment up on their page. You can also be a part of a group or community, (the only way you can browse for new friends outside of your friend’s friend list.) You can also post pictures of yourself, family and friend, places you have been or just photos of things you may like. You can put up videos of yourself and events, and share them with your friends. You can also put up a lot of info about yourself, play games, send a gift and buy a friend a drink using the Applications.

Now let’s compare some of the features both MySpace and FaceBook has.

On MySpace you can Post Bulletin. Tell your friends about news and other things that are happening or you can be a part of a surveys, games and contests.

Another great feature is Photo Albums. Put up photos of yourself, friends, family and places you’ve been. You can even place them in their own albums, e.g. you can place photos of yourself in one album, photos of friends and family in another or photos of your favorite events.

Next, post a Blog. That’s right; you can write a review (like this) write about something you like or a movie that you’ve seen. A song or just have your say about anything you want.

We now move onto Groups. Join a discussion group, there you can find a lot of people with the same interest that you may have.

MySpace uses Html, CSS and Flash. Like so many web sites out there. You can personalize your page by adding graphics, music, videos, photos and info about anything you want. Now you can add animations to your page. And you don’t have to worry about working out where to put everything, it’s already done for you. All you need to do is, add the info.

Last up is Mood. You can let your friends know how you’re feeling, and what you’re thinking buy putting up a comment, and you can select one of many auto mood that comes up under your profile picture (it also has a small smiley faces that match the mood your in.)

On FaceBook you have the option to Poke someone. What is Poke someone you ask? It’s pretty much what it sounds like, if you happen to find someone that you think is cute or hot or someone you wanna sleep with. All you need to do is give them a Poke! That’s right; it’s the new way of flirting with people on the net. So if you poke someone and then you get poked back, there’s a good chance that you’re in. Now they also have Super poke, and X me, you can find them under your Apps.

Have money you don’t want? Buy someone a Gift or Drink. Well, you don’t need money on FaceBook to give someone a gift or buy them a drink. But you can give or buy as many gifts/drinks as you like, just to let your friends know how you feel about them.

You can also be a part of a Game. Yes that’s right, you can enter yourself or a friend into a game that doesn’t even exist. The way it works is you try and get as many friends as you can to join up to the game under you, the more friends, the more points. It’s just a lame way for you to become popular. They do have games that you can play like, online poker, Pacman, Frogger, Bejeweled and many more, by using the Apps.

Want to leave a comment; you can post a message up on their Wall. Doing so, your friends can read your comments and then send one back to you. When it goes up on the wall, everyone sees it.

With FaceBook when you put an item or Apps on your profile page, you can move it just about anywhere you like too. It’s easy, you just click, hold, drag and drop the image or texts where ever you like (Well, anywhere FaceBook lets you.)

Now just for fun, let’s go over some fun facts by comparing the two in the way they work.

MySpace is the PC of the way it’s used. Like a PC it has spammers, people trying to still your ID and hacking your page. There are also ads popping up here and there, MySpace, it’s very popular. Where FaceBook is the Mac in the way it’s used. Like the Mac’s there are no spammers, people trying to still your ID, because you can’t get into anyone’s account, you can’t even browse their profile.

MySpace is the Mac of the designing and entertainment on the site. Where FaceBook is the PC of the way it looks. It’s there and it works. It’s kind of straight to the point.

MySpace is a place for the artistic and creative type. And FaceBook is for those who have no creativity in them or, just can’t be bothered with it.

MySpace is for the people that are out going and fun. While FaceBook is for the private and personal type.

In a final note, MySpace is cool, fun and it’s the best place to meet new people from all around the world. It’s the best place to be creative and yourself. MySpace is my choice.

On the other hand, FaceBook is the place you go when you don’t want anyone finding anything on you. It’s also the best place to go hangout with your close friends and family. This is why I have both MySpace and FaceBook accounts.

www.myspace.com
www.facebook.com
